Heyy Reader, How has your week been? We had a bit of a Tornado situation in Toronto but all is well now 😄.
Highlights for this week:
❇️ Consume < Create : This will help
🦄 Creator of the week - Matty Jordan
🤖 Weekly Prompt: Meet your Childhood self
👽 Tech Product Feature - WisprFlow
❇️ Consume < Create
Create more than you consume.
This was the core message of a 7 day challenge I attended recently.
The objective of the challenge was to consume less and create more. Easier said than done. It's only when you have to actively try and break a bad habit, do you realize how badly you have it.
Ask yourself this question, when was the last time you spent a few hours away from your phone, intentionally?
*first pause for you to think*
*second pause for dramatic effect*
😟🫢 RIGHT? 🤷♂️ Like when did it get THIS bad?
Idk about you but I even take my phone EVERYWHERE (🚽 🧻). It's like the phone has become a part of me... which is SO WEIRD (but also common. I bet you do it too 🙄 and if you don't, you are my hero)
If you want to create things, consuming more and more will only hold you back.
The excuse most creators give themselves is "I'm consuming for inspiration." But that's a slippery slope.
Before you know it, you've gone from saving a few posts into a collection (that you will never revisit)... to watching cat videos and babies playing with puppies.
If you can relate to this, I invite you to try something this coming week....
Create more than you consume.
You don't need to post everything. (or anything)
But make more things, than you consume.
It might be the perfect reset that your creativity needs.
You already have all the ideas. You just need to execute next bud.
Let me know how it goes. DM me on Instagram for accountability if you need it. 💪
🦄 Creator of the week: Matty Jordan
Matty Jordan (@mattykjordan) is the world's most-followed Antarctican, an international speaker, content creator and most recently, a dad. He has spent hundreds of days living and working at Antarctic research stations. His content pulls back the curtain on daily life at the bottom of the world, from building out scientific facilities to wintering over through 118 days without sunlight. Check out his new book here.
If you're looking for inspiration this week, you can look to Matty. He creates content about a niche almost nobody else has access to: what it's actually like to live and work in Antarctica. You can be inspired by his approach and ask yourself, "What past/current life experience of mine can I share with others?". You dont need to be in Antartica to have stories. Your lived experience is unique. Find your story.
Check out his profile for details here.
🤖 Prompt: Meet your Childhood self
“Using the two uploaded images, create a black-and-white portrait. On the left, place the childhood version facing right. On the right, place the present-day version looking toward the child. In the center, set a table with a birthday cake displaying my current age. Make the image ultra-realistic with natural skin texture."

👽 Tech Product Feature - Wisprflow
I dont type anymore. I use Wispr Flow. Ever start typing a Slack message and give up halfway because your thumbs can't keep up with your brain? Wispr Flow fixes that. It's a dictation app that lives on top of everything you use, so you just tap a floating bubble and talk the way you'd talk to a friend, tangents, half-finished thoughts and all, and it hands you back clean, properly formatted text ready to send. It works inside WhatsApp, Slack, Gmail, ChatGPT, your browser, basically anywhere you'd normally type, and right now it's free and unlimited on Android (also on Mac, Windows and iPhone). Check it out here.
