🖼️ Instagram Reel Cover Image Template

Why did I create this?​
I used to keep away from experimenting with my content because I felt like the cover image was a whole other thing to figure out and it would mess up my "profile aesthetic".

Why this mattered: When people visit your profile they only take a few seconds to decide if they like what they see. I didnt want to decrease this conversion % so I wanted it to look clean.

How did these templates help?​
I no longer had to worry about the cover image because I had 3 variations that I could use and play around with.

The templates:

Template 1: This must be my favourite one. I love how the text wraps around me. It's a very simple effect. Here's how you can do it:

1. Open my Adobe Express Template.
2. This cover has 4 layers -> Full Image of You (Bottom)> Black Transparent box (for a dark layer)> Text> PNG Image of You without background. (On top)Move both PNG and original image together always.
3. The top most layer should be a layer with just you and no background.
4. The bottom layer should be the full image with the background. Make sure to move the top layer and bottom layer together so that they are in sync.
5. Play around with the text to give it a cool vibe by moving the text over and below based on the image you select.

Bonus Tip: Use Adobe's "Remove background Quick Action" to remove the background of any image of you in one click.

Template 2: This one works well if you are doing a challenge or if you're in a mix experimenting with tons of different ideas that all look different.

This is super simple to edit you just replace the image and text as you like.

Bonus tip: Use Quick Actions like "Resize Image" or "Crop Image" to quickly edit your image. Try using "Generative Fill Quick Action" to create something super interesting from your original picture.

Template 3: This is the template I used the most for my talking head videos. I like that it looks unique like a "card" which was inspired by my friend Kalypso on Instagram. I love how the text aesthetically fits into one box.

Bonus Tip: Use Quick actions in Adobe Express to make your life easier because the whole point of tehse templates is to help you accelerate your workflow.

💪 There is power in execution

There is no point in having these templates if you do not use them. Puhleaaaaaze USE THEM and CREATE more of what your beautiful brain comes up with. It's unfair to the world if you gatekeep all of your creativity. I'm just saying 🤷‍♂️
